Medicaid is a state government program that helps with medical costs for some people with limited income and resources. To find out more about Medicaid, contact your local department of social services or the New York State Department of Health at:

Health Insurance Information, Counseling, and Assistance Program
HIICAP can provide information about Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, and can explain Medicare rights and protections, help you make complaints about care or treatment, and assist with problems with your Medicare bills.
